The different type of cards
- There are 4 different types of cards in Parallel
- Units : these cards have a number for their attacks and health. Drop them on the battlefields and they appear dormant for the duration of your turn unless specified on it (battle ready for instance). On your next turn, drag and drop them to attack a unit or the ennemy avatar. When attacking a unit, your unit will inflict its attack number on the health point of the ennemy units and vice verca.
- Effects : these are spell cards that can be used against Avatars or Units. The keyword "shielded" protects a unit against on spell before it runs out. Some cards can also lower or increase the cost of spells (Lord Harf for instance)
- Augments : these cards require a unit on the board to be played. They improve the card they are attached to in various ways such as increasing life, number of attacks etc...
- Paragons : they are the special hero you get when chosing your avatar. These are not considered as units which means they don't follow normal units rules
Keywords in Parallel
Keywords are special effects related to your units. Some of them trigger when they arrive on the battlefield, some of them when they leave. Here is the exhaustive list :
- Muster : triggers when the unit enters the battlefield
- Aftermath : triggers when the units leave the battlefield unless banished
- Battle ready : the unit can attack on the turn it enters the battlefield
- Flourish : triggers when the unit is healed for more than its based health points
- Overclock : triggers by paying more mana than the initial cost of the card
- Salvaged X : X augment attached to this unit is transfered to another you own on the battlefield
- Armed : when an armed unit attack, it deals its damage first. If it has enough attack to kill the ennemy unit, it won't suffer any damage. a 3/3 Armed unit attacking a 4/3 unit will kill it without dying. Note that it doesnt work when the unit is attacked, only when attacking.
- Shielded : a shielded unit avoids the first spell that targets it. It doesn't prevent non targeting spells.
- Assault : assault cards get a special effect if any damage has been dealt to the opposing avatar.
- Attuned : an attuned unit has two states : awakened and dormant. Each state alternates every turn, triggering a special abbility.
- Decay : every turn, decayed units lose one and inflict one damage to adjacent units.
- Defender : a defender unit can block attacks for instead of other units if the player controling it decides to.
- Evasive : evasive units can ignore defenders
- Retaliate : retaliate abilities trigger when the unit takes any form of damage
- Pacifist : a pacified unit cannot attack

Getting your first Apparition Cards
- Tutorial
Your first games in Parallel should be spent playing the tutorials. It requires you to win 5 games with one of each avatar (Augencore, Marcolian, Shroud, and Earthen) and reward you each win with an Apparition Pack.
- Bounties
Every day players are offered multiple bounties which are a bit harder to complete than daily quests but rewards entire Apparition packs
7 daily bounties rewarding normal apparition packs with easy difficulty
3 daily bounties rewarding premium packs with harder to achieve goals
1 daily bounty that requires to win 20 games rewarding 500 exp and some crafting materials (see Crafting section)
Early on, you should focus on achieving them more than trying to rank up. If 2 bounties require X amount of spell, use a spell heavy deck until they are done instead of your favorite deck.
- Battles pass
Each month, a new season is introduced, and the ranked ranks are reset. Each season comes with a new Battlepass that rewards you Apparition packs, a legendary card, tournament keys and even some Glints for reaching specific levels.
From level 1 to 30 you need 1000 exp points to complete the level. After that you’ll need 4000 points to complete a level. How to get experience?
Each win gives about 50 points of experience
Daily quests grant 500 points of experience
Once every 4 days you can complete the “XXXX” by completing 4 daily quests granting you a big 4 000 points of experience.

As you know the maximum number of copies in a deck is limited to 3. Whenever you own more than 3 copies, you can go in the “collection” tab on the main menu and then in the “Cards” subsection. Here you can access the “disenchanting copies” button that salvages every cards of which you own more than 3 copies into dusts. The ratio is the following:
Common: 5 dusts
Uncommon: 20 dusts
Rare: 100 dusts
Legendaries: 400 dusts
